Air Guitar… yes!
Air Guitar… yes! The 2008 Air Guitar Championships (NY Regionals) is going down on Tuesday night, June 3rd at the Bowery Ballroom. Sure, it’s sold out, but don’t let that stop you. I had the privilege of catching the LA Regionals a few years back and it was something awesome! If you think air guitar is merely an ironic schtick for losers and geeks, you’re wrong. Losers and geeks, yes, but ironic? Never. The contestants are deadly serious, super competitive, and actually have some chops. I think a few of them might actually be able to play guitar. Smells like “date night” to me!
