Whoa. Talk about taking one for the team. Reports say this Thai anchor was shot at during a regular broadcast as a result of his station’s support of the anti-government movement, currently trying to oust Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat. Yikes. Smells like *trouble in paradise.
(*some of which include the issue of former Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej receiving payment for hosting two cooking TV shows, Chim Pai Bon Pai (”Tasting and Grumbling”) and Yok Khayong Hok Mong Chao (”All Set at 6 AM”) for a few months after he had become Prime Minister).
